Hey All

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, my on campus camera eats batteries and doesn't hardly work! A side from that I haven't had anytime lately to do anything, but school and work. And believe me my toes are even feeling neglected!

All is pretty good here though. Planning for my trip to RUSSIA!!!!!!! Big fun, but getting a Visa is nerve racking! I think it is now like 50 days before I leave now. I'll be there for two and a half weeks! We're planning on hitting Moscow and St. Petersburg. Very Very Unblieveable. I've been working an planning for it forever now and it hasn't sunk in at all! hahha... Maybe it will after the fifteen + hour flight!

School is good I'll be out May 11th!!!! I'm currently running an on campus food drive! Finals will be rough, but I got lucky and only have three during finals week and one next Wednesday. So that will help.

For the summer I'm clearly looking forward to Russia, spending time with the people I don't see nearly enough, and yeah I'm stuck with two summer classes, but they shouldn't be to bad.

As a tribute to an international friendship Saturday I wore my "crazy bubble gum necklace."

It was all the more fun because I knew somewhere in Russia was one of my best friends running around Saint Petersburg wearing the same one.

Needless to say the matching earrings were a bit much!





Life is so busy and evermore demanding it is so easy to lose track of the special times and moments that make you smile and especially all the people that you love.

That is why my favorite place in my house is this little table which sits right outside my door. It holds little peices and parts of my life.

I hope the giver of each of these peices knows how much they mean to me. I hope that I have given something to them which they can look at and know the same.

And then there is the Maprich Men...... and yes this is an obvious societal metaphor.

The Long Yam is carefully grown and protected by each man in the community and then is compared at the end of harvest. The yam is decorated with a mask, and at times the man himself will wear the mask as well...














But now I must say I'm excited to just cuddle up with my book on Halston and my favorite little gray kitty!

Finally a long weekend!!!! With time for tea, sleep, and just a little papmering! Still lots of work to be done... both school work and on the sales floor, but tonight and tomorrow morning are all mine. I think I'll paint my toes or maybe even go so far as to put on... Dare I say it ... Make-Up! And after all this I might just feel human again.

Some weeks can really take it all out of you. But give me tea (--- from my special Tea Cup), some time to regroup, and Dark Chocolate and I'm back!!!

When others see how truly great something you really love is.

And when you find people who love to do the same damn thing even though they suck at it as much as you do!

Coming home and always knowing you will always belong, but also knowing you have a place filled with great people that are becoming home too.

All the people you met along the way that inspire you and make you feel like the things you do that no one else sees really matter.

And the people that see something in you when you cannot.


To all the people in my life that truly make me happy. Those that went through it all with me and those who I am just starting to discover. Thanks for coming along for the ride and making it all worth it.
